Do you charge for a consultation?
We welcome any opportunity to meet and establish relationships with potential clients. As a result, we do not charge for a consultation. This first meeting allows us to get acquainted and for questions and discussion about the issues most important to you.
What makes you different from other advisors?
We desire to create a memorable experience each time we meet with our clients. Our goal is to exceed expectations in order to further deepen the relationship. By leveraging the latest technology, we provide our clients access to their PFG Private Wealth Portal. This allows our clients to be engaged in the continual progress towards their goals at any time.
What is an RIA?
RIA stands for a Registered Investment Advisor. An RIA is a firm engaged in the investment advisory business and registered either with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) or state securities authorities.
What is a fiduciary? Are you a fiduciary?
As a Registered Investment Advisor, PFG Private Wealth Management, LLC is held to a fiduciary standard of care under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. By law, we must insure that each investment recommendation we make is based on your best interest. Additionally, we are required to have a written code of ethics that governs our actions and fully discloses how we are compensated.
Do you have any proprietary products you’re required to sell?
No. Because PFG Private Wealth Management is an independent Registered Investment Advisory firm we have no proprietary product requirements and can therefore offer unbiased council to each client based on their unique needs and priorities.
How do you get compensated for your investment management services?
As a Registered Investment Advisor, we charge a fee based on assets under management, aligning our compensation with your goals.
How often do I receive account statements?
PFG Private Wealth Management utilizes TD Ameritrade Institutional to custody your accounts. TD Ameritrade sends out statements on a monthly basis. In addition, PFG Private Wealth provides quarterly performance reports outlining portfolio manager insights, important client announcements, and a detailed analysis of your holdings.
Do you offer online access to my accounts?
Our clients have 24 hour access to their account through TD Ameritrade Institutional and their PFG Private Wealth Portal.
